Attorney Robert “Bob” Watt serves as Of Counsel to Orabona Law Offices, P.C., bringing with him decades of experience in both legal practice and public service. For over ten years, Attorney Watt has collaborated closely with our firm, and we are proud to formalize our relationship as he continues to assist our clients with immigration-related matters.
Attorney Watt began his academic journey at the University of Pennsylvania (1965–1966) and later earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts (1972–1975). He also served honorably in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972 before earning his Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School in 1978.
Throughout his distinguished career, Robert Watt has demonstrated a deep commitment to justice and civic engagement. He served on the Board of Directors of Progreso Latino (1979–1985; 1992–1995), was Chairman of Warwick Community Action (1984–1987), and held the position of Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Warwick (1979–1990).
Attorney Watt is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bars, the Pawtucket Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. His professional affiliations also include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
